Every STAR WARS Disney+ series is coming in 2023

Star Wars may take place a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, but it will be a big part of Disney+ in 2023. Even if Lucasfilm isn’t returning to theaters again this year, the franchise has plenty of stories to tell. What shows and characters will appear on the streaming site in the next 12 months? Here is each Star Wars series coming in 2023.

The Bad Batch Season 2 (January 4, 2023)

Lucasfilm started its 2023 slate early with the second season of its animated series The Bad Batch. The show follows Clone Force 99 as it struggles to survive through the first months of the Empire. The second season will also see the group cross “paths with friends and enemies, both new and familiar, as they take on a series of exciting mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.” We also imagine Wrecker will smash some things, and that’s always fun.

The Mandalorian Season 3 (February 2023)

Our favorite surrogate father and his little green son will return in February for its third season on Disney+. The couple was reunited during The Book of Boba Fett, but there won’t be much time to catch up. Danger follows the two wherever they go in what continues to be one of the streaming sites best shows.

Young Jedi Adventures Animated Series (Spring 2023)

The High Republic is coming to screens, just not in the way many fans expected. Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures will follow a group of young people, in what Lucasfilm calls its “first full-length animated film Star Wars series made for preschoolers, early schoolers and their families.” The show may be made for little padawans, but we bet fans of all ages will see the galaxy far, far away during the earlier era.

Star Wars: Visions – Volume 2 (Spring 2023)

Forget a galaxy far, far away, season one of Visions showed what Star Wars would look like in the hands of anime studios. Now the animated anthology series will return in the spring for a new collection of stories. We expect this year to be even better, but we know it’s going to look amazing.

Star Wars: Ahsoka (Expected mid to late 2023)

Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano will continue the search for Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn on Disney+. The show will feature many dear faces from Star Wars Rebelsin what promises to be another important chapter in the former Jedi’s life.

Skeleton crew (Expected late 2023)

Jude Law will host the finale Star Wars series from 2023 with the brand new Disney+ show Skeleton crew. But while Captain Marvel may be the show’s biggest star, it will focus on his young colleagues. The series will follow a group of children lost in the galaxy trying to find their way home. It will take place during the New Republic era, juxtaposing it with the events of The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.

And we thought Star Wars 2023 slate was packed.
