Police investigated after reports of shots fired in the area of Market Square in Downtown Pittsburgh Wednesday afternoon. The reports come from the area of Forbes Avenue at Market Square, which sent several businesses and a school into lockdown.Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots on Delray Street between Liberty and Forbes avenues. A manager of a nearby business said he heard about three shots and saw someone in all black running out of the alley toward Market Square.Pittsburgh’s new police Chief Larry Scirotto told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 this shooting does not appear to be random.”It seems to be violence between two individuals,” he said. “It didn’t appear to be random. We have video footage of the event, four rounds fired from the subject to the victim, but nobody has presented injured and/or claimed to be a victim of the event.”As of Wednesday night, the chief says they are still working to identify the gunman.There are no reports of anyone hurt.
