Pittsburgh man accused of stealing AK-47-style rifles during Venango County Rural King burglary
Police say they’ve identified the man accused of stealing two AK-47-style rifles during a burglary at the Rural King in Sugarcreek Borough, Venango County.The burglary happened a little before 2 a.m. on May 13 at the store on Allegheny Boulevard.A Pittsburgh man, 18-year-old Raejon Williams, is facing several charges. Police said that Williams smashed a display case to try to get to some handguns but ended up taking the two rifles from a display rack instead before fleeing.Police say a witness recognized the Ohio State hoodie he was seen wearing in surveillance pictures, and that helped police identify Williams.Police said when he was arrested, Williams told them he no longer had possession of the rifles.
